Semana Mundial de la Seguridad Vial
April 23 al 29 de 2007

The United Nations has designated April 23rd to April 29th as Global Road Safety Week.  This international collaborative effort is designed to promote road traffic safety on the world stage, encourage nations and government organizations to develop integrated traffic safety programs, raise awareness of the scope of the problem worldwide, and foster great international cooperation to reduce traffic fatalities and injuries.  During Global Road Safety Week, NHTSA’s goal is simple: to save more lives by convincing more young drivers and passengers, in the front and the back seats, to always buckle up – every trip, every time.
