The Bureau of Indian Affairs Law Enforcement Services (BIALES) mission is to enhance the quality of life, to promote economic opportunity, and to carry out the responsibilities to protect and improve the trust assets of American Indians, Indian tribes, and Alaska Natives. We will accomplish this through the delivery of quality services, and maintaining government-to-government relationships within the spirit of Indian self-determination. The individual employee contributes to the overall mission by performing duties with integrity, fairness and timeliness, always remembering the end product must be a quality service. |

Indian Health Service Injury Prevention Program (IHSIPP) is dedicated to injury prevention. The mission of the Indian Health Service Injury Prevention Program is to raise the health status of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest possible level by decreasing the incidence of severe injuries and death to the lowest possible level and increasing the ability of tribes to address their injury problems. The American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) is a national, nonprofit organization which nurtures building of communities by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Native Alaskans to pursue studies in science, engineering, business and other academic arenas. The trained professionals then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians and Native Alaskans as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society. |
