2006 MOTORCYCLE SAFETY AWARENESS MONTH
MINI PLANNER
May 2006 |
|
Each year, May is designated Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. States and motorcycle organizations across the country conduct a variety of activities to promote the importance of motorcycle safety.
This mini planner provides publications and resources that show motorcyclists how older riders may be more at risk for crashes than younger riders, and how proper training, always wearing the right gear, and never riding while impaired can help to reduce crash-related fatalities and injuries for riders of every age. This mini planner also includes material designed to educate motorists about why it's important for them to “share the road.”
The “face” of motorcycling is changing, so it has never been more important for motorcyclists and motorists to work together to prevent crash-related fatalities and injuries. |
