PUBLIC AVAILABILITY OF REPORTS
a. Requests for copies of completed SCI reports can be obtained from the address
below. The reports contain text, slides and/or photgraphs or digital images
and there is a cost associated with the reproduction of the crash report
You must provide the Case Number when requesting an SCI report. This
is listed in the first column of the Summary Tables, which can be accessed above.
Only those cases listed as 'Available' can be requested. 'Active' and 'Under
Review' cases are still in the quality control process and are not completed.

b. Copies of completed SCI reports are made available to the crash victims, families of crash victims, and the investigating police jurisdiction upon request. Copies are automatically sent to the automobile manufacturer of the subject vehicle.
c. Completed SCI reports can be reviewed at the Arlington, VA site upon request to the address above. There is a nominal cost for case retrieval and handling.
