The Federal / state partnership plays an important role in heightening the industry and consumers’ awareness regarding the seriousness of odometer / title fraud.  Members of the Odometer Fraud staff accomplish public awareness through presentations that are informative speeches about our office, its programs and its relationship/partnership with other agencies regarding odometer fraud; these presentations are given to industry, consumer advocates, state, local, federal agencies and other affected groups.
